Multi Vehicle Collision Results In Double Fatality

(Cambridge, ONTARIO) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division (HSD) Cambridge Detachment is investigating a serious motor vehicle collision Highway 401 westbound near Highway 6 north in the Township Puslinch.

On December 21, 2019 at approximately 2:47 a.m. officers from the Cambridge OPP were called to a serious motor vehicle collision blocking lanes of Highway 401 westbound in the Township of Puslinch.

Officers arrived on scene to find three involved vehicles. Two drivers were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The two passengers of the third vehicle were later pronounced deceased by the coroner.

The deceased have been identified as:

Male passenger Ramnauth SEEBACHAN (65 years old)

Female passenger Pardmini SEEBACHAN (59 years old)

Both from the Cambridge area.

The investigation is still on going, further updates to be released as available
