Cell Phone Use Linked to Brain Tumour

The Italian Supreme Court recently upheld a ruling that connected heavy cellular use to a brain tumour. In this case a business executive was using his cell phone for 5 to 6 hours per day for 12 years. He usually held the phone in his left hand as he would take notes with his right hand.
The business executive had developed a tumour that affected his cranial nerve. The tumour was not cancerous. The court found that the business executive’s use was different from normal, non-professional use of a cellular telephone. The court also noted that the research supporting the claim was independent and not funded by cellular companies.
