Three Arrested In Drug Raid

Cocaine Trafficking Among The Charges

Waterloo Region, Ontario – An investigation by Waterloo Regional Police into the illegal drug trade and drug activity within Waterloo Region has resulted in the arrest of three local men and the seizure of illegal drugs and numerous firearms.

The investigation into cocaine trafficking was led by the Drug Branch with assistance from other members of Strategic and Tactical Services, the South Division Crime Management Team and Neighborhood Policing officers.

Joshua Chabot, 32, of North Dumfries Township; Brandon Pfeiffer 28, of Kitchener; and Peter Whitby 49 of Waterloo were arrested without incident on Tuesday February 24, 2015. They are currently charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine) and are in custody pending further court appearances.

On February 25, 2015, Police executed search warrants at residences located on Maple Manor Road, Branchton; Cavelletti Court, Waterloo; Bridlewreath Street, Kitchener; and King Street South, Waterloo.

As a result of this investigation police seized the following items: (see photos below)

· 22 ounces of cocaine, with a street value of $33,000.

· 1 ounce of cannabis marihuana

· 6 handguns, 2 shot guns, 11 long guns

· 1 conducted energy weapon

· ammunition

· Canadian currency

· hydraulic press and cutting agent
