Inspired Artists Showcase Work At Waterloo Art Event
Waterloo, Ontario – Art Innovators, the fine arts education program that teaches children to expand their minds while expanding their abilities, is showing off the newest inspiring works of art created by students.
The exhibit, showcased at The Shops at Uptown Waterloo Town Square, will feature work by our talented students from over 40 local schools/programs. This exhibit will take place from May 9th -17th at 75 King St S, Waterloo. There will be an Opening Party from 12-4pm on May 9th. Your children will be able to take part in free Art Activities and have their faces painted.
Art Innovators Waterloo Region is set up as a Social Enterprise. “Our for-profit side of the business funds art programs for many children/youth in our communities who do not have access to Extra-Curricular programs.” says Paul Field, owner of Art Innovators. Art-work from eight of our non-profit Art Programs will be displayed at this Art Show as well.
“We hope that our exhibit at Uptown Waterloo Town Square will give the community a chance to come out and see the amazing artwork created by these children/youth. The world through the eyes of a child is truly an inspiring thing to see—and the art work created by these children/youth is a beautiful reflection of that world,” says Paul Field, owner of Art Innovators.
Art Innovators' program is offered to children/youth of all ages and gives them the opportunity to work with high quality art materials that are not always readily available to them through traditional art education programs. The program focuses on fun exercises and proven methods that teach children/youth to draw naturally and create original works of art.
