Waterloo Regional Police Conducting Homicide Investigation in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario - Members of Waterloo Regional Police Service's Major Crime, continue to investigate the murder of Joshua Bennett.

A post-mortem examination determined the cause of death was a result of multiple stab wounds.

Investigators continue to seek the public's assistance in identifying those responsible.

Initial Release:

Waterloo Region, Ontario- Waterloo Regional Police are conducting a homicide investigation after a male was located deceased in Kitchener.

On September 24, 2021, at approximately 4:30 a.m., police responded to the area of Paulander Drive in Kitchener after receiving a report of an injured male.

Upon arrival, police located a deceased male outside near a trail in the area.

Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Major Crimes Unit, General Detectives, and Forensic Identification Unit are continuing to investigate.
