16 Kitchener Rangers on NHL Opening-Day Rosters

'Three former Kitchener Rangers coaches will be on the bench this season.'

Kitchener, Ontario. – An impressive 16 former Kitchener Rangers have ties to NHL Opening-Day Rosters, 13 of which are players and three are on the bench as coaches.

There are two former Kitchener Rangers skaters on each of the Anaheim Ducks, Montreal Canadiens and the St. Louis Blues and one former Ranger on six other NHL teams: Buffalo, Calgary, Colorado, Dallas, Detroit and Winnipeg:

  8. Jacob Ingham (Los Angeles Kings)
  9. Mike Hoffman (Montreal Canadiens)
  10. Arber Xhekaj (Montreal Canadiens)
  11. Robert Bortuzzo (St. Louis Blues)
  12. Logan Brown (St. Louis Blues)
  13. Logan Stanley (Winnipeg Jets)

Three former Kitchener Rangers coaches will be on the bench this season:

  1. Peter DeBoer (Dallas Stars)
  2. Steve Spott (Dallas Stars)
  3. Mike Van Ryn (Toronto Maple Leafs)
