Kitchener Rangers post a commanding 4-1 home victory over Guelph Storm

Kitchener, Ontario - Kitchener posted a commanding 4-1 home victory over their Highway-7 rival Guelph Storm Tuesday night. With the win, the Rangers secured their fifth-straight victory and have now earned points in nine out of their last 11 games.
Kitchener finished the season-series with Guelph earning a 6-2-0-0 record and were a perfect 4-0 on home-ice at The Aud against their rival.
The Rangers are only six points behind Saginaw who is holding the fourth and final playoff hosting seed, and Kitchener has played one less game.
Danny Zhilkin (Winnipeg Jets) recorded a three point (1G, 2A) night against his former team, Francesco Arcuri (Dallas Stars) had two assists and Marco Costantini made 26 saves on 27 shots. Reid Valade, Mitchell Martin and Matthew Sop also added goals for Kitchener.
The Rangers were 0-for-1 on the power-play and a perfect 5-for-5 on the penalty kill. Shots favoured the Storm 27-24.
Costantini was awarded the game's second star of the game stopping 26-of-27 shots he faced and Danny Zhilkin was awarded the game's first star with one goal and two assists against his former club.
