George Carlin was a philosopher who was funny. No one looked at the smallest aspects of life and came up with some of the biggest laughs quite like George Carlin. In this video interview, Carlin shares some of his wisdom and observations with (a younger) comedian Jon Stewart. His unique style  resulted in his amazing success as a comedian and as a social visionary and commentator.

As Carlin said: “Sometimes you get applause for not being dead”

Well, now he's dead. And the world still applauds him.
